Assignment / Project   Number  09

Designing Web Pages

How is this project graded?

This project, like the others, is graded on the basis of a maximum ten points.

Remember that the primary goal of this project was to design a simple web page using a template

If your web page did not contain your name, you probably received no credit unless you made prior arrangements with your instructor.  (After all, how is you instructor to know that you just didn't give him a URL to someone else's web page?)

If your web page did not contain a picture that actually appeared when your instructor checked out your page, you probably lost about four points.  (We're not talking about a background design here.)

If nothing appeared when your instructor checked out your page, you probably received either no credit or the customary one point gift.

If you did not turn in a printed copy of your web page or if you did not send an email to guyd1234@mail.plattsburgh.edu with the URL (including the http://... part) or you sent your email to your instructor's personal email address, then your instructor may never have seen your web page to grade it.

If you turned in or sent something other than your web page, like for example a printout of you working on your template, then you may have received at most three points, but likely fewer.

You needed to turn in the following to the instructor on the date this assignment is due (check the class schedule):
  1) PRINTOUT #1:  A printed copy of your final web page printed from a web browser into which
you have typed the URL of your page.  (This is not to be a printout of you working on your template.)
  2) PRINTOUT #2:  None.
  3) DISK FILE:  None.
  4) OTHER:  An email containing the URL of your page and sent to your instructor at the
       following address:   guyd1234@mail.plattsburgh.edu
and NOT sent to your instructor's personal email address.
