Disabilities:
Whereas students with disabling conditions constitute nearly
10% of the student population at Plattsburgh State; and
Whereas these students provide a valuable level of diversity
at this campus; and
Whereas Plattsburgh State has received state-wide admiration
for excellence in service to the disabled community;
Therefore be it resolved that the Plattsburgh Faculty Senate
encourage all faculty to take appropriate action in ensuring that all students
with disabling conditions are treated with respect and provided personal
dignity in the classroom and equal access to all areas of educational
development.
