WHEREAS:

Our teacher education programs produce some of the most sought after and most competent teachers in New York State and the United States,

BE IT RESOLVED:

That the Senate leadership arrange a meeting, possibly concurrent with the Executive Committee meeting, between the Chancellor, the Senate Executive Committee and the Campus Governance Leaders to advance the understanding of the Chancellor of the excellence of our teacher education programs and the faculty involved in them, which includes faculty across all disciplines.
